Oryzomys auriventer Thomas 1890

Oryzomys auriventer Thomas 1890, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 4, 7: 379.

Type Locality: Ecuador, Tungurahua Prov., upper Río Pastaza, Mirador, 1500 m.

Vernacular Names: Golden-bellied Oryzomys.

Synonyms: Oryzomys nimbosus Anthony 1926.

Distribution: E Ecuador and N Perú.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: A subspecies of O. albigularis as recognized by Cabrera (1961); considered distinct by Gardner and Patton (1976).
