General Practitioners with an Over-Threshold Number of Patients in Italian Regions

ISTAT calculates the number of general practitioners with an over-threshold number of patients in the Italian regions. The variable is defined as the percentage of general practitioners with a number of patients exceeding the maximum threshold of 1,500 patients as set by the general practitioners' contract. The data refer to the period from 2004 to 2020 in the Italian regions.
