Description

Instructions

  • These standalone RMarkdown tutorials cover power analysis for multiple semi-field experimental scenarios including short-term experiment testing single and combined interventions, and long-term experiment testing single and combined interventions. The RMarkdown files are standalone pieces of code, so you can run them independently.

  • To replicate the power analysis results/plots used in the main article, you must download and save the files "Power_Analysis_results_used_in_the_article.R" and "PowerFunction_ShortTermSFE_SingleIntervention.R" or "PowerFunction_ShortTermSFE_CombinedIntervention.R" or "PowerFunction_LongTermSFE_SingleIntervention.R" or "PowerFunction_LongTermSFE_CombinedIntervention.R" in the same folder, and then run the "Power_Analysis_results_used_in_the_article.R" file only as the other function files are already refence on it.

  • Caution: do not run function files. You are not supposed to run function files as a standalone piece of code, instead you have to run the main file "Power_Analysis_results_used_in_the_article.R" and the function files will be called automaltically since they are already referenced in this main file. What you have to do is just to simply put the main file and the function files in the same folder.
