GONet all sky camera calibration

Description

This report presents the results of characterization tests made to the GoNET all-sky light pollution camera. The results show remarkable sensor linearity, noticeable vignetting, good optical axis alignment, traces of on-chip signal processing, spectral response according to the sensor curve provided by the manufacturer in the B and G channels except for a severe cut-off from 590 nm on in the R channel, a photon transfer behavior consistent with a typical CMOS device and also highlights the importance of good flat fielding for precise photometry measurements. Along the process, we have developed a series of analysis tools that could be applied to other imaging devices such as DSLR cameras.
