Material examined

INDIA: Goa, Tiswadi, Old Goa, 14 July 2015, 1 female, yellow pan trap, coll. Ankita Gupta.

Description

Female, length of the body 3.8 mm.

Colour. Body black with following yellowish-brown: apex of the fore tibia, base and apex of mid tibia and femur, mid and hind tarsi.

Head. With 2 projecting horns. Head on anterior with an additional tooth. Genotemporal furrow present. Post-orbital carina absent. POL equal to OOL.

Mesosoma. Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate with interstices carinate. Anterior margin of mesoscutum without punctures. The apex of scutellum rounded.

Metasoma. T1 smooth and shiny with basal carinae reaching one-third of its length.

Distribution

INDIA. Delhi, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal (Emiliyamma 2016; Gowriprakash et al. 2018).
