Description
Abstract: Technology is now a must for corporate operations; it is no longer a choice. Businesses have been integrating technology with their goals more and more throughout time to ensure growth, survival, and continuity. Organizations have undergone a fundamental redesign and reorganization due to technological advancement, creating highly connected and effective corporate processes. In an effort to increase efficiency, convenience, and productivity, these developments are encouraging tighter cooperation between humans and machines. This revolutionary change is best shown by the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) into business. Businesses that have integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into their operations have witnessed notable gains in core functions like marketing, finance, supply chain and logistics management, production and operations management, and research and development (R&D), among other areas. The Human Resource (HR) department is similarly embracing this transformation. Today, HR professionals are increasingly recognizing the prominence of augmenting the blend of human and automated work to foster a more instinctive work environment. As organizations integrate artificial intelligence into their HR processes at changeable paces, it becomes crucial for HR professionals to comprehend and equip themselves for these technological shifts, which are reshaping organizational and workforce dynamics. AI-based HR technology offers both short-term and long-term advantages. It enables HR departments to enhance the employee experience, empower managers to make steady decisions, address acute business challenges, systematize repetitive tasks, develop tailored training modules, and support HR managers in making more effective talent development results. The purpose of this research article is to clarify how artificial intelligence (AI) is integrated into different HR activities and to emphasize the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in the field of human resource management (HRM). The work takes a descriptive approach, using secondary data collected from journal articles, research papers, websites, HR blogs, and survey results. The study's conclusions highlight the necessity of incorporating AI into HRM procedures by showing how crucial it is for HR operations in general, from performance management to hiring.
