EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON ORGANS

Description

The COVID-19 pandemic, which first appeared in Wuhan, China, has so far affected the lives of people all over the world. It has been found that COVID-19 has a widespread effect on almost all organs. Until then, it was found that the virus caused inflammation, endothelitis, hypercoagulation and swelling in the body. Lymphocytopenia, fibrin degradation and DVS syndrome were observed in the circulatory system, venous thromboembolism, pulmonary embolism, systemic and pulmonary arterial thrombosis and embolism, ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction were observed. It is known to cause acute coronary syndrome, acute heart failure, myocarditis and arrhythmia in the heart. Intravascular coagulation was found even in young patients. Patients complained about a sense of taste. Psychological problems are common among patients. In rare cases, systemic erythematous rashes have also occurred.
