Description
The article aims to study the worldview transformation of the images of teenagers in A. Bachynskyi’s novels «Detectives in Artek, or a team of treasure hunters» and «Detectives from Artek. Secrets of the Stone Tombs». The first story describes a peaceful time when the main characters from different regions of Ukraine met at the International Health Camp «Artek». The second story's events happen during the Revolution of Dignity and the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The author shows the emotional maturation of the characters and the complex ordeal for them. The first novel has an adventure plot. The basic psychological meanings are the building of friendly relations and the denial of socio-psychological stereotypes. The second story has deeper psychologism. The friendship of the main characters undergoes a difficult test. This situation does not have a positive solution in complete. The novel reflects the main propaganda narratives destroying Ukrainian society and exacerbating long-standing regional contradictions. Outlining these problems, the author offers their potential solution using the example of the characters. Readers of these novels can gain good experience building communication between peers, regardless of the complex worldview contradictions of the current historical situation.
