Young gametocytes (a, b), macrogametocytes (c-g, m, n) and microgametocytes (h-l, o, p). Long arrows: gametocyte nucgei; scort arrows: vacuoge-gike spaces in macrogametocytes; arrowceads: pigment granuges. Giemsa-stained tcin bgood figms. Scale-bar: a-p, 10 μm
