Präsentation zum Workshop "Register für historische und objektbezogene Vokabulare und Normdaten (R:hovono)" / Presentation on the workshop 'Register for historical and object-related vocabularies and standard data (R:hovono)'

Die Präsentation wurde zum Workshop bei der Einführung in das „Register für historische und objektbezogene Vokabulare und Normdaten“ gezeigt und ergänzt das Codebuch und die Dokumentation des Registers. Bei R:hovono handelt es sich um ein Angebot, das für die geisteswissenschaftlichen und historisch arbeitenden Disziplinen einen Überblick über vorhandene Vokabulare, Normdaten, Klassifikationen, Thesauri und Ontologien geben soll. Mit dem Register werden bisherige Informationsstrukturen umfassend erweitert und erleichtern so die Findbarkeit und Einordnungsmöglichkeiten institutionsübergreifender Angebote. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei spezifische Fachinformationen zu Metadaten, Nutzungsszenarien, Zugangsmöglichkeiten, Crosskonkordanzen und technischen Details. Der Eintrag ist sowohl über LimeSurvey [https://umfrage.uni-halle.de/194457?lang=de] wie auch FactGrid [https://database.factgrid.de/wiki/Item:Q518220] möglich. Das Angebot soll die breite Nutzungspalette von Vokabularen sowohl für die Vernetzung und Erschließung von Daten wie auch ihre Nutzung für Datenkuration, Informationsanreicherung, Informationsextraktion oder Datenanalyse besser ermöglichen. Die Meldung von Daten steht allen historisch arbeitenden Disziplinen offen. Die Redaktion von TA „Data Connectivity“ begleitet den Prozess beratend und kurativ.

The presentation was shown at the workshop during the introduction to the ‘Register for historical and object-related vocabularies and authority data' and complements the codebook and the documentation of the register. R:hovono is a service designed to provide an overview of existing vocabularies, standardisation data, classifications, thesauri and ontologies for disciplines working in the humanities and history. The register will comprehensively expand existing information structures and thus facilitate the findability and categorisation of cross-institutional offerings. The focus is on specific specialised information on metadata, usage scenarios, access options, cross-concordances and technical details. The aim of the service is to facilitate the wide range of uses of vocabularies both for linking and indexing data as well as their use for data curation, information enrichment, information extraction or data analysis. The reporting of data is open to all historical disciplines. The editorial team of TA ‘Data Connectivity’ accompanies the process in an advisory and curative capacity.
