Getting the Deal Through – Corporate Governance 2013
Description
The main sources are two federal laws, Law No. 6,404 of 15 December 1976 (Corporations Law) and Law No. 6,385 of 7 December 1976 (Securities Law). Regulations issued by the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), especially rules and resolutions, are mandatory to publiclyheld companies. The CVM also issues opinions, decisions in administrative proceedings and clarification notes.
