Modelling of earthquake slip by inversion of GPS and InSAR data assuming homogenous elastic medium

  • 1. CNRS-ENS-PSL-UMR8538

Description

inverse6.f is a f77 software that produces forward and inverse models of the ground deformation produced by an earthquake. The direct model is based on the Okada 1985 equations that use the assumption of homogenous elastic hald space and a rectangular fault with homogenous slip. The inverse algorithm is that of Tarantola and Valette 1982. The case of the 2007 Kos earthquake is used as an example.
