Description

By running the Python code in the uploaded zip file, one can perform automatic peak deconvolution of Raman spectra of carbonaceous material to calculate the R2 ratio (defined by Beyssac et al., 2002, Journal of Metamorphic Geology). Based on the obtained R2 ratios, the maximum metamorphic temperature experienced by the rock of interest is estimated using the geothermometer modified from that of Aoya et al. (2010, Journal of Metamorphic Geology). Instructions for users can be found in the Readme or AutoRaman_K2024_Manual. The code was developed by Kaneki et al. (submitted to Progress in Earth and Planetary Science).
