Green Human Resource Management: A Systematic Review using ADO framework

Abstract: The study of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) field has seen a surge in popularity among academics in recent years. An ever-increasing body of research seeks to explain the motivations behind GHRM activities among corporations. However, there is still a lack of scholarly work in the areas of motivations and benefits for doing such activities. Using the Antecedents, Decisions, and Outcomes (ADO) methodology, this article aims to present an overview of the previous research that has been conducted on GHRM field. The study employs two step methodology for systematically reviewing and organizing the existing literature on GHRM. First, the PRISMA technique was used to select articles; and second, the ADO (Antecedents, Decisions, Outcomes) framework was used to analyse the literature. On the basis of a comprehensive survey of 137 articles published between 2011 and 2023, we examine existing literature. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other study that analyses the GHRM stream utilising ADO Framework; therefore, this study is a unique contribution to the existing body of literature. In addition, this review compiles the findings of previous studies and outlines potential avenues for further investigation.
