CO2-SPICER - CO2 Storage Pilot In a CarbonatE Reservoir: R2.4 Model of spatial distribution and properties of fractures
Authors/Creators
Description
Fracture system analysis of the reservoir rock improves the understanding the reservoir properties. Žarošice oil-and-gas field was penetrated by 9 wells, 4 of them were horizontal. Seven wells, including the pilot ZA3, were logged by FMS. As the core samples did not provide spatial orientation, the FMS analysis was used to identify the fracture system directions. All FMS logging and interpretations were performed by Schlumberger. Schlumberger data analysts provided complex protocols with data quality control and detailed explanations.
