How can supercomputers help modelling and next challenges of HPC?

As part of the 2024 UN Ocean Decade Conference, TipESM co-organised the Satellite Event, Monitoring the Ocean, in Barcelona on April 8th, 2024. The event consisted of a panel discussion and exhibition event. As part of the panel discussion, we had 6 experts providing overviews on ocean monitoring from Earth Observations to in situ observations, to supercomputers and modelling. Mario Acosta presented work connected with the ESiWACE project and how supercomputers can help modelling and the next challenges of HPC.
