The ZOOOM Licensing framework represents a tool for strategic decision-making. It is a practical guide for stakeholders about the variables and questions that one needs to consider in the adoption/use of open assets and technologies for business purposes, especially in innovation ecosystems. The framework investigates the intersection between legal and business aspects that can impact the decisions and conduct (in one word, the “journey”) of a company at different stages of development, depending also on its structural characteristics and internal organisation.
