Schizotetranychus lespedezae in: Beglyarov and Mitrofanov (1973): 16 –22; Zeity et al. (2016a): 119 – 128.
Type locality – Russia (Eastern).
Distribution – Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Hosts – Bauhinia sp., Cajanus cajan, Gliricidia sp. and Pongamia sp.
Outside India – China, Japan, Korea, Rusia and Taiwan.
