Synonyms

Paratetranychus coiti McGregor, 1941.

Oligonychus viridis (Banks) Beer & Lang, 1958. Zaher et al. (1982).

Type hostPunica granatum and Vitis vinifera.

Type locality – India

Distribution – Andra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Krnataka, Meghalaya, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. Outside India – Australia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Egypt, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Iran, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Saudi Arabia, USA and Venezuela.

HostsAndropogon sorghum, Areca catechu, Cocos nucifera, Cynodon dactylon, Dichanthum annulatum, Eucalyptus sp., Flagaria sp., Lusine egypticum, Musa sapientum, Oryza sativa, Panicum distachyum, P. javanicum, Persea Americana, Saccharum arundinaceum, S. munja, S. officimarum and Sorghum vulgare.
