This paper represents a case study on the possibilities of digital transformation of SMEs in the field of car testing and insurance. Thus, the aim of the paper is to identify the opportunities for digitization of SMEs in the car testing and insurance sector in the Republic of Moldova. Just as companies must follow the digital transformation trend until 2030, according to the Digital Transformation Strategy of the Republic of Moldova, we consider it necessary to identify an action plan for SMEs in this sector that would help companies achieve their strategic goals. The research methodology focused on the use of multiple research methods: analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, induction, deduction, qualitative research. Finally, we believe that SMEs in the field of car testing and insurance are obliged to rapidly develop and implement software elements, various management systems, which would help them to make their activity more efficient, increase customer satisfaction and increase their competitiveness.
