Outcrops of the late Miocene "Imperial" Formation s.l. occur at 9) Lions Canyon (Bramkamp 1935, Powell 1986), 10) Super Creek (Bramkamp 1935, Powell 1985, Powell 1986, Powell and LaFollette 2012), and 11) Garnet Hill (Powell 1985, Powell 1986, Rymer et al. 1995, Powell 1995).
