DE-LAMINATION AS A METHOD OF NATURAL ZEOLITES' MODIFICATION

The fields of application of zeolites in various industries can be significantly expanded by modifying them. The article discusses one of the ways to modify natural zeolites. The features of acid modification of zeolites are highlighted. Combining the simplicity of the process with its efficiency is attractive in obtaining zeolites with the required properties. Acid treatment increases the size of the intracrystalline cavities and, as a result, the adsorption capacity.
