Description
For new moms, adjusting to the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that occur with parenting during the postpartum period can be difficult. In order to effectively support and care for new moms, it is imperative to comprehend the interrelationships between the sadness, anxiety, and sleeplessness that are typical during this time. Studies have indicated that among new moms, sadness, anxiety, and sleeplessness frequently coexist, and the existence of one can exacerbate the others. Nevertheless, the precise character of these interactions remains incompletely understood. This study intends to offer insight on potential causes and implications connected to maternal health by examining the intricate interactions between depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness in new moms during the postpartum period. To better understand the connections between depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness among new moms during the postpartum period, a mixed methods approach will be employed in this study. The intensity of sadness, anxiety, and sleeplessness symptoms in new moms was measured using quantitative data from surveys and standardized questionnaires. certain measurements will yield important data on the frequency and co-occurrence of certain mental health issues. In-depth interviews and focus groups will also be used to gather qualitative data about the lived experiences of new moms. This will provide a more nuanced understanding of the subjective effects of depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness on the everyday lives and general wellbeing of these women.
