Supplemental material for "Insights into tropical cyclone precursor vortex development from a single column model"

This dataset includes:

• The 1-D column model (MATLAB)
• The code we added to amplify longwave radiative feedback in CM1
• The postprocessing code for diagnosing the cyclonic bias factor B and the vortex Rossby number RoV from convection-permitting simulations (MATLAB)
• The movies of seven convection-permitting simulations and a description document.
