OurMED M4.1 Literature-Based Identification of Multi-Sectoral Water Management Approaches. Version 1.0

Description

OurMED aims to enhance water management strategies by integrating monitoring, modeling, and technology, focusing on natural and artificial water systems. Task 4.1 involves developing a robust multi-objective methodology for water management, considering site-specific characteristics and stakeholder needs.

This document represents a milestone in Task 4.1 of the OurMED project, involving a literature review report on multi-sectoral water management approaches. It plays a crucial role in assessing the progress of Task 4.1 towards developing the methodology to be presented in deliverable D4.1.

The review consolidates key concepts and discussions on multi-objective and multi-sectoral water resources management, along with methods to address complex water management challenges commonly encountered in regions facing conflicts between water availability and demand, leading to significant water and ecosystem issues.
