Pseudomonas inefficax strain CMAA1741
Description
We have identified and characterized three genomes from bacteria isolated from the rhizosphere of Triticum aestivum. Streptomyces cinnamonensis strain CMAA1738 and Paenibacillus ottowii strain CMAA1739 were obtained from the Iranian wheat landrace Iran 1-29-11334, and Pseudomonas inefficax strain CMAA1741 was isolated from the wheat landrace Karakilcik, from Turkey. These bacterial strains exhibit remarkable abilities, including the capacity to solubilize phosphorus, produce indole-acetic acid, fix nitrogen, and demonstrate a significant antagonistic effect against Bipolaris sorokiniana, an important pathogenic fungus that affects wheat and barley crops.
