FAIROS Program of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF)

In 2022, the U.S. National Science Foundation Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC) Public Access Program published a program solicitation (NSF 22-553) titled Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable Open Science Research Coordination Networks (FAIROS RCN). The program awarded 10 RCNs totaling about $12.5 million. The FAIROS RCN program is part of OAC’s portfolio of strategic investments in cyberinfrastructure for public access and open science (CI PAOS).
