FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR PADA ANAK USIA TODDLER (1-3 TAHUN)

Background: Toddler is a period where children have an age range of 12-36 months. This period is a period of intensive environmental exploration because children try to find out how everything happens and how to control other people through temper tantrums, negativism and stubborn behavior. Motor development is development that controls body movements through coordinated activities between the central nervous system and muscles. Starting with rough movements involving large parts of the body in the functions of sitting, walking, running, jumping. Then it continues with coordination involving smooth muscle groups in the functions of holding, holding, throwing, both of which are needed in everyday life. Method: This research uses a quantitative observational research method with a cross sectional approach, sampling using a simple random sampling technique with a total of 30 mothers who have toddler-aged children. The instrument uses an observation sheet and analysis uses the Chi Square statistical test. Results: Based on the results of univariate analysis research, the majority of children with gross motor development are developmentally appropriate, namely around 66.7% (20 people), who have children with questionable gross motor development, namely 26.6% (8 people) and children with deviant gross motor development. namely 6.7% (2 people). The results of bivariate analysis show that there is a relationship between parental education (p value 0.001), simulation (p value 0.002), and socialization (p value 0.015) with children's gross motor skills. There is no relationship between the child's weight (p value 0.589), there is no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0.653) and the child's gross motor development. Conclusion: It is hoped that parents who have toddlers can increase their knowledge about gross motor development in children according to their age stages.
