Source Code Expert Identification: Models and Application
Authors/Creators
Description
This replication package contains the data necessary for reproducing and extending the results presented in the paper 'Source Code Expert Identification: Models and Application.' The tool used to extract the data is a Java project hosted on GitHub at https://github.com/OtavioCury/knowledge-islands. Within the provided package, there are two folders: the first contains data related to the first study discussed in the paper, while the second folder contains data related to the second study.
In the first (study_1) folder, we have:
- data_base.csv: all values of the variables extracted from each developer-file pair that participated in the first study.
- open_source_projects.csv: data from the open-source projects that were chosen to participate in the first study.
- survey_email_example.txt: email template sent in the survey applied to developers who participated in the study.
In the second (study_2) folder, we have:
- truck_factor_values.csv: truck factor values calculated from the 130 open-source projects used in the study.
- recency_developers_comments.xlsx: developer comments related to recency found in survey responses applied in Avelino's related study.
- missing_devs_comments.xlsx: comments specifying developers missing the original truck factors computed in Avelino's related study.
- open_source_projects.csv: data from the open-source projects that were chosen to participate in the first study.
