Description

This data set holds the simulation data for a paper, "Modeling Ion Conic Formation in Io’s auroral footprint" by Glocer et al., 2023. This data is output from the Polar Wind Outflow Model used to simulate ion escape from Jupiter in the region of Io's auroral footprint which was observed by the Juno spacecraft.
