  booktitle    = {{BIR@ECIR} '24}
}

This dataset extends the FIND dataset. The FIND dataset contains evaluation data from an user study with 13 participants working on two tasks: expert search and paper search. For participants there are descriptions of their definitions of the tasks and two BPMN models per task, depicting their ideal task conduction model and the participants' actual task conduction model using SchenQL. The definitions are given in the folder 1_Definitions. The BPMNs are given as SVGs in folders 2_Ideal and 3_Actual. Names of files correspond to participants' code names.

The novel part of Re-FIND is the re-definition of the task descriptions from FIND. The transcripts of interviews can be found in folder 4_Re-Definitions. In addition there are two Excel sheets, one indicating which factors of an information need are found in which representation (Factors_in_all_Manifestations.xlsx) and one sheet indicating which category these factors belong to (Factors_to_Categories.xlsx).
