Description

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) happens when bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites evolve and no longer react to treatments making infections difficult to cure. The proliferation of superbugs is frightening; this issue might result in 10 million deaths per year by 2050. Although scientific research is helping to tackle the problem, the active and conscious cooperation of citizens is crucial. The thesis project focuses on how to fight antimicrobial resistance, through an interactive multimodal experience. The objective is to engages young people in the debate and, as a result, raises awareness of AMR.
