Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) can be assigned to people (researchers and contributors), places (institutions), and objects (research outputs and resources). In this presentation, given during the launch event of the Northern African Research and Innovation Association (NARIMA), Mohamad provides a quick overview of the different types of PIDs and emphasizes the importance of adopting them in research workflows.
