Description
This work attempts to make a connection between the European Warrant Arrest (EWA) and torture. Torture not as a general notion but as a violation of the rights of the prisoner who is in prison due to an EWA. Also in this case the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) as well as some cases of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) try to shed not only light but also to interpret the rights included in the procedure of the EWA as an effective part of a system of mutual trust and legal assistance at European level.
