Description
Reproducibility is vital in ensuring the quality and integrity of research. This Knowledge Exchange report and accompanying framework is the main outcome of a study which identifies how reproducibility can be enhanced within research institutions and the stakeholder groups who have a part to play in this process.
This evidence based report presents the results of a literature review, survey, focus groups and community engagement conducted to identify what different stakeholder groups, from researchers to managers, require to enhance reproducibility practices within their institution. It outlines key findings such as the importance of collaboration and dialogue between staff at all levels. Additionally, the report identifies inspirational examples of how reproducibility has been enhanced within research institutions.
The key output of this work is a framework that research institutions can use to understand how to support and enhance reproducibility practices internally. An assessment spreadsheet and guidance document on how to use it can be accessed through the report.
