Description

This research report aims to review and assess measures that can be used to reduce the travel-related carbon footprint of the Erasmus+ mobility program for higher education students and staff, with a focus on behavioural change measures, mainly ones that instigate a shift from air travel onto more sustainable modes. It also explores the potential for carbon offsetting schemes.

The Erasmus Goes Green (EGG) project aimed to increase environmental awareness on mobility and encourage more sustainable internationalisation strategies in order to reduce the transport-related carbon footprint of mobility activities.
