Input SWE, precipitation, and streamflow data for NRCS/INSTAAR/JPL STC-MODSCAG fSCA/M4 Study
Description
This archive contains supporting data for a study testing use of the STC-MODSCAG fractional snow-covered area product as forcing data for the AI-based M4 water supply forecasting model. The study was performed by S.W. Fleming, K. Rittger, C. Tagliatela, and I. Graczyk. The data archived here consists of predictive and target data used in the M4 model (Natural Resources Conservation Service National Water and Climate Center's GitHub public repository for M4 (https://github.com/nrcs-nwcc/M4) in the four study watersheds. For STC-MODSCAG data, references can be founds in the References section herein. These datasets consist of three files: an Excel spreadsheet containing observational USGS streamflow and in-situ SNOTEL and COOP accumulation precipitation data, and two zip files containing the STC-MODSCAG fSCA data at native resolution, partially aggregated into elevation band-averages, and fully aggregated into a watershed-wide mean, along with some summary plots. Filenames are self-explanatory.
