Reasoner-Aid Research: Potentials and Popularity

This paper presents the first study on the popularity of reasoner-aid research among students. To understand how students are accepting and conducting research with the help of reasoners, a survey was conducted among students in two Dutch universities. The analysis shows that the majority has little knowledge about this approach and a small amount of students have experience with reasoner-aid research. This paper summarises the benefit of reasoner-aid research, reasons of its limited popularity and discuss the potentials of this approach.
