Abstract:
Purpose: This study focuses on evaluating the financial literacy of Degree College students in Mumbai, delving into their attitudes and perceptions regarding financial planning, goal-setting, and long-term financial security. The research aims to pinpoint barriers to financial literacy and recommends strategies to enhance the financial knowledge of undergraduate students.
Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data gathered through a questionnaire, with a sample size of 50 chosen through convenience sampling. Utilizing descriptive and inferential statistics, the study analyses diverse aspects of financial literacy among undergraduate students, encompassing attitudes, behaviours, and encountered challenges.
