Towards a Conception and the Implementation of FAIR Data Management Tools for the Energy Domain

Description

The work presents the first concepts for tool development for energy research data management based on ontologies, a knowledge graph and FAIR principles. Search for digital resources, the integration of metadata and ontology standards, and the creation of new metadata objects are the first tasks that shall be provided. Methodically, we focus on Conceptual Models as an extension to ontological modeling and a paradigm for the planned development work and also on FAIR Digitial Objects as publishing elements and access points to research data. The first use case will be the data management for a photovoltaic system.
