Abbasid diplomatic relations with Byzantium

Abstract: This article seeks to study a very important historical stage in Mauritanian history, which has remained a subject of controversy and discussion among researchers and scholars of all walks of life and diverse ideas. Therefore, this article presents a new vision of colonialism through Nawazil texts with different orientations and ijtihad visions about the colonial phenomenon, the limits of dealing with the French, and the options available in this direction, in a country that did not know any unifying authority for the people of the field except for the Almoravid state in the fifth century AH. In general, we wanted to present these texts without bias or projections that may be outside the text or to understand the conditions with a view that goes beyond reality in their analyzes and conclusions about the authoritarian imagination and dealing with colonialism in an understanding that is not devoid of realistic and diligent approaches that look at various contexts, no matter how numerous or different they are.

في موريتانيا مقاربات ونصوص جديدة حول الاستعمار

 الملخص: يسعى هذا المقال إلى دراسة مرحلة تاريخية بالغة الأهمية في التاريخ الموريتاني، ظلت محل إشكال وتدارس بين الباحثين والدارسين على اختلاف مشاربهم وتعدد أفكارهم. لذا يقدم هذا المقال رؤية جديدة للاستعمار  من خلال نصوص نوازلية مختلفة التوجهات والرؤى الاجتهادية حول الظاهرة الاستعمارية وحدود التعامل مع الفرنسيين والخيارات المتاحة في هذا الاتجاه، في بلاد لم تعرف أي سلطة جامعة لأبناء المجال باستثناء الدولة المرابطية في القرن الخامس الهجري. وعموما فإننا أردنا تقديم هذه النصوص دون تجن ولا اسقاطات قد تكون خارج النص أو تَفهم الأحوال بنظرة تتجاوز  الواقع في تحليلاتها واستنتاجاتها حول المتخيل السلطوي و التعاطى مع الاستعمار في فهم لا يخلو من مقاربات واقعية واجتهادية تنظر إلى مختلف السياقات مهما تعددت أو اختلفت.
