Ceasefire Hierarchical Firearm Dataset

This dataset contains a total of 40,789 images from 260 different firearm models, divided into a training set and a test set.

In the scope of the European Ceasefire project, we were given the opportunity to access to the weapons collection of the police forensics laboratory SNPS in Toulouse.
We established a video acquisition protocol that aims at filming a firearm from a large range of angles, and applied it to capture 45 firearms. 
We extracted frames from the videos to obtain numerous images from multiple viewpoints for each firearm model.
Finally, we merged these images with the already existing Firearm 14k dataset and additional manually downloaded images.
