Lucile Randon, biographical research and validation of her lifespan

Lucile Randon died on January 17th, 2023, in France at the age of 118 years and 340 days, more than 25 years after Jeanne Calment died in August 1997 at the age of 122. This long period, when longevity records in France seemed to plateau at around 113/114 years, has raised many questions about Jeanne Calment's case and the limits of human longevity. These questions make it even more important to validate her age at death and to document her life trajectory. This research is presented in two chronological frameworks. Firstly, that of Lucile Randon's family, her parents, her siblings, and her life trajectory. Secondly, that of the principal researcher of this study (CD), who has been interested in Lucile Randon for many years, as they were born in the same commune.
