Holotype: 1 ♂. HONDURAS: Atlántida / RVS Cuero y Salado/ Salado Barra 2 m / N15°46’ W87°00’ / 1 Agosto 2000 / F. Reyes / 41.834 EAPZ // [on white with red border; hw label] Tibicen heathi / Sanborn/ Holotype // [upside down barcode label] FSCA 00070563.
Conservation status: Good condition; pinned (Fig. 20).
Additional notes: Originally described as Cicada heathi Sanborn, 2010, and subsequently given the new combination Diceroprocta heathi (Sanborn, 2010) by Hill et al. 2015.
