Common name. Inconnu-Sheefish

Taxonomy. Original description: Salmo leucichthys Güldenstädt, 1772: 533 [Volga and Ural rivers from Caspian Sea, Kamtchatka, Russia; No types known].

Revisions. None.

Illustrations. None.

Distribution in Iran. —Distribution in River Basin: Caspian Sea.—Distribution in Ecoregions: 434-Kura-South Caspian Drainages.

Status in Iran. [Native].—Azad mahi-e Volga.—Listed in previous checklists from Iran by Esmaeili et al. (2017 a, 2018); Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. (2020) and Eagderi et al. (2022).—Iran material: None.

Conservation. —IUCN: EW.
