Type locality: Dutch New Guinea [West Papua], Geelvink Bay, Nomnagihe
Distribution. Indian records: Dharmsala, Sikkim (Klima 1939), Himalayas, Assam (Gupta 1994), Tirap, Deomali, Jaintia Hills, Garampani (Kirti & Sodhi 2001), Andaman Islands (Rao & Sivaperuman 2020), Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya (Reddy & Murthy 2021), West Bengal (Pathania et al. 2021b). Global records: Solomon Islands (Druce 1888), Mallaca, Celebes, Mysol, Waigiou, New Guinea, Solomans (Hampson 1896b), Vietnam (Tonkin) (de Joannis 1930), Nepal (Yamanaka 1995), Australia (Shaffer et al. 1996), Indonesia (Pathania et al. 2021b).
