Type locality: India, Meghalaya, Cherrapunji

Distribution. Indian records: Nagas (Hampson 1896b), Khasis, Nagaland (Kirti & Rose 1992), Cherrapunji, Shillong (Meghalaya) (Gupta 1994), S and NE India (Inoue 1997), India (Wang & Speidel 2000) Meghalaya (Khasi Hills, Sumer, Cheerapunjee, Jaintia Hills, Jowai) (Kirti & Sodhi 2001), India (Zhang & Li 2005b), Arunachal Pradesh (Chandra et al. 2019), Kerala (Das et al. 2020a).
