LUI_virtual_species

This folder contains the shapefiles of the sampled presence/absence points of the three virtual species (arable, grassland and wetland species) generated for the analyses described in the manuscript:
Roilo, S., Paulus, A., Alarcón-Segura, V., Kock, L., Beckmann, M., Klein, N. & Cord, A.F. (2023) "Quantifying agricultural land-use intensity for spatial biodiversity modelling: implications of different metrics and spatial aggregation methods", which was accepted for publication in Landscape Ecology.

The shapefiles contain the extracted values of ten land-use intensity metrics, spatially aggregated using three different spatial grids (square, SQ, hexagonal, HX, and voronoi, VO). For more details on how this data was generated, refer to the manuscript cited above.
