Holotype male. Label data (3): "Musée du Congo, Eala, vii.1936, J. Ghesquière "; " Holotype Afroploce ealana Aarvik, Genital prep. 21030 ♂, L. Aarvik "; " MRAC / KMMA 00233 "; specimen ID: RMCA ENT 000004977 (Fig. 25).
Male genitalia (Fig. 71). Uncus broad, tapered terminad, hairy; socius moderate, slender, drooping; valva slender with large, weakly sclerotized lobe of posterior edge of basal cavity accompanied by ventral group of setae; sacculus convex postmedially armed with two strong spines, posterior to ventral lobe; cucullus slender with two ventroproximal thorns; aedeagus long, slender postmedially; cornuti two short, capitate spines.
Remark. Described from the male holotype only.
