Description

Fig. 2. Unrooted cladistic analysis of the EcHSD mRNAs. The evolutionary history was inferred using the Neighbor-Joining method. Homologous A. thaliana mRNAs (AT2G47120 – NM_130280.1, AT2G47130 – NM_130281.4, AT2G47140 – NM_130282.1, AT2G47150 – NM_130283.1) and a 3βHSD mRNA sequence isolated from E. rhaeticum (ErHSD1, Acc. Nr.: JF504668.1) are also shown. The optimal tree with the sum of branch length = 1.61887687 is shown. The percentage of replicate trees in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) is shown next to the branches. The evolutionary distances were computed using the Poisson correction method and are in the units of the number of amino acid substitutions per site. All positions containing gaps and missing data were eliminated from the dataset (Complete deletion option). A total of 199 positions were in the final dataset. MEGA4 was used for phylogenetic analysis (Tamura et al., 2007).
